The "World Heritage: Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range" in the Wakayama Prefecture of Japan were registered as
a world heritage in 2004.
A world heritage is something that is owned jointly by all the people of the world who exist in this present day and time, and is a
treasure common to all mankind, that should be inherited by future generations. In this photographic exhibition we will present Koya and Kumano from the World Heritage Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii
Mountain Range, including scenes resplendent in the beauty of nature, and will share with European visitors the emotions derived from a
culture inherited from the past. |
